Along the boardwalk

This was taken back in June, On Jay’s birthday. His sister was staying with us for the weekend and we decided to take her down to the beach after checking out the Riverdale Art Walk.

It’s now the beginning of August and my birthday is just a couple of weeks away. Where did the summer go? I think I’ve been spending too much of it in my air conditioned apartment, getting all my ducks in a row.

Adam Schwabe Vs. The Alien Bees

So for the last couple of weeks I have been possession of my friends Alien Bee strobes. And sadly I’ve only used them once on some product shots. This past evening, I finally changed that and got Adam in front of the lights and camera.

Check out the growing set over on flickr.

Beta

If your a single guy, this is your best bet on getting a date. Get an adorable puppy like Beta.

This is Will Pate’s new pup, Beta, whom he brought with us apple picking on Saturday afternoon. We were stopped every 30 seconds. I kid you not. This is not the kinda dog you want to have around if you need to get somewhere fast. But it’s a sure ringer if you are looking to meet new people.

Proceed with Caution

Wise words from the door of a fast food restaurant. Precautions aside, sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith.

I once had a dream many years ago, probably about 10 years ago now. I jumped out of a third floor window of my old highschool. Out of the visual arts classroom, down to the concrete driveway below. Some how, some way I landed on my feet.

That dream has stayed with me all these years, it’s one that I don’t easily forget.

A Long Weekend

Sometimes there are not enough days in a weekend, even with the longest of weekends. This shot was taken just before the start of the fireworks at Ontario Place on Sunday evening. Happy Birthday Queen Victoria.

At the Brassaii opening

Andrea checks out my piece, “Artery” at the BlogTO presentation of A Contructed Image of Toronto. The show opened on Friday to a huge crowd.

You can check out my work and the work of other Toronto photobloggers until the end of the month at Brassaii Bistro, 461 King St. West.
