With a bit of spare time on Sunday afternoon, we went to check out the Value Village at Rogers Rd and Keele. Jay found a couple of doilies which he is gonna use in ceramics class and I walked away empty handed, aside from this shot of the condo next door with the primary coloured balconies.

About a year and a half ago it seemed like everyone in the city had a pair of these. All my aunts and female cousins owned a pair and they even had spares for houseguests. I shot this display of slippers along Dundas Street a couple of weekends ago just before going to Mother’s Dumplings for an awesome lunch.

So I tossed a pack of Polaroid 600 into the SX-70. And the wannabe winners will be happy to know that the camera is in perfect working order. Of course, the test shot is a tad overexposed, but otherwise the focusing is spot on and camera is operational.

We found this faux Blythe doll of Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golighty in the window of Silver Snail on Queen Street West. It was simply stunning. Of course, this caused us to go into the story and lust after all the action figures and figurines. Let’s just say I have a little bit of a Peter Pan complex.

I saw this balloon just outside Yorkdale subway station and I watched it for 20 minutes. It was so beautiful. hehe… In all seriousness, I watched it for maybe 2 minutes.
