Thanks for posting these – great shots! I live in the Eglinton and Caledonia area and was awoken by the huge explosions – shook our houses even this far away. I could see, along with all my neighbours who were standing out on the street, the lights and hear the explosions but we didn’t have a clear picture of what was really happening.

Excellent coverage. I hope you’ve submitted these to CP24, your vantage point + fine photography would probably be used on air.

The blinds on my window blew out and then were sucked back in like a backdraft with the sound of an explosion at the same time.

Went outside and saw the explosion in the sky and it was the most spectacular and scary thing i’ve ever seen in my life!

Thought it was a plane at Dehavilland.

Hope no one is a fatality.

I was up at 3:45am-ish posting pics and I felt and heard this loud boom. I thought a truck or car had slammed into the house next door. Then the bangs just kept coming. It sounded like bombs were being dropped somewhere or a giant robot was crashing through the neighborhood. Scary stuff.

Yes, I live very close to where it happened. The explosions woke us up, but we didn’t know what the noise was. My honey thought there was a burglar in the house and he’d knocked over something so he went out to investigate.

It wasn’t til morning that we heard and realized what woke us. Those are really great pictures though. I may take you up on adding one to one of my sites (with credit of course).
