This past week I was on assignment in Keswick, Ontario, which is about an hour north of Toronto. I had to take pictures of a gas station owner and his son, but took the opportunity to take some other shots around the station including this one.
Sure it simply looks like a modern Shell station, nothing terribly outstanding, but just imagine how this will look to us in 50 years when I’m 83. Below is a shot of a Shell Station from the 1950′s

Take a moment and think about how much visual history we have recorded in the last 5 years, and how much more we will create in the coming years.
More importantly, do you think we will still be using gasoline in 50 years?

I would hope not. In 50 years I hope we’re a little wiser, and that gasoline is restricted to say, heavy machinery.
My cousin lives in Keswick and we’ve been to the Pizzaville beside the Shell many times
