This is the first of 3 mini snowglobes that I found at Value Village. The set of three cost me $1.99. At first, I wondered what a cow and maid had to do with the holidays and then I remembered that on the Eighth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, eight maids a milking. The other two globes have nothing to do with the 12 days, but it would have been cool if someone created such a set.

Gloria, There is a very fine line between cool kitch and crap. It’s always surprising what you find at these places because at one point these items were actually in someone home.
Which is crazy. I really love how things can seem totally different in one person’s home from being in another’s. I tend to view things very much in their context or environment so if I saw this globe some place else, I might not think too much of it. Here, it seems a bit sweeter.
Maybe because it’s been chosen and isolated, so I take the time to stop and search for why I’ve been told to look.
