Actually, Rannie, I think that a lot of the most famous Adams prints were in the exhibition, though there is certainly a lot of early work... the Aspens and Moonrise, Hernandez are two of his biggies. Anyway, people who have his books would love the show... in The Print and Exampels he writes extensively about how he handled some of his famous images in the darkroom (paper grades, burning/dodging, bleaching) and the AGO has them "in the flesh". Definitely worth a look. (I made a post on my "Words" blog earlier today about it.)

Iconic to say the least! Adams’ work makes me yearn for the mountains and those captured moments that can only happen in nature. I’d definitely love to see the exhibit.

I’ve never been an Ansel Adams fan, but I’ve never seen his work up close and personal. I’m hoping this exhibit might change my mind. If not, I’ll at least have more justification for my stubbornness. And I’ll happily go see them for free.

Eisenstadt is amazing.
