Checked out Taste of the Danforth on Saturday. The food was yummy, the crowds were horrible. This festival has really outgrown itself. The organizers really need to rethink the placement of the beer gardens in the middle of the street. Esepecially the media area, just west of Pape. They should really take advantage of some of the intersections to create beer gardens and stages like they do at Logan.

I went last year. It was insane. You couldn’t move. It’s really been like this for a couple years now though.
We also checked out Vancouver’s similar Taste of the City and it was equally horribly busy. Thirty minutes of standing in line to get a falafel busy. Ouch. The foods (including the falafel) were fantastic though, so no regrets
