Bay Street

This was taken last week on Bay Street, just south of Bloor. Handheld, manual focusing and from the hip. Since I was using a borrowed 17-40mm L lens, I knew I would get a large portion of the scene. I definitely need to get one of these lens for myself, but first I got to get my camera fixed. Looks like I will be playing with film for the next couple of weeks, that’s considering I’ll have time to go out and shoot.

Nice shot rannie. I like the diagonal lines, the motion blurr, and the way the fire hydrant acts as an anchor. The bike in the top left also really helps to fill the space. Well done… :)
