iPod envy!
Considering that I drive most places having an iPod seems more like a luxury than a commuting necessity. Especially now that I live within a 5 to 10 minute drive as opposed to my old 30 to an hour drive it would be fairly useless, considering I’ll be lucky to get through a second song on my daily commute. But notably since moving, I have also taken transit downtown a number of times so maybe it will come in handy.
In any case, I think iPods are cool. [Where the hell did the iPod photo go?.... oh I see, they are one in the same now] Anyway, if given the choice I would definitely go with a 60gig version. Hmmm I think I have more than 60 gigs of music on my external drive that may cause a problem.
If I was talented, I would make a Real Wood cover [link via Jeremy] for my iPod. But realistically, I think a Black one would be sexy [no, not a U2 one, a black one] or if I wanted something funky, possibly a retro Orange colour. That would be hot.
Unfortunately more RAM for the powerbook is higher up on my list.
I just got an iPod for myself yesterday! I needed a new player to hold digital photos for me while I’m on vacation. So far it seems pretty sweet…
